The Sprint to the end of 2017

Winter is here and it feels real this time. I've been in Europe since mid-November, and the snowpack in the Alps is the best since 2011. There is snow all the way to the bottom of the valleys.

The training in Austria has been insanely productive and now I'm on my way to Val Thorens, France, with the goal to stand on top of the box.

This year is a little different in the best ways. Everything is in slow motion. The features come at me slower, the racing is more predictable, and I feel like I am going to win every time I get in the gate.

Although we're two World Cups deep into the season, it feels like opening day is just around the corner, because this is the start of winter. The travel-heavy December is picking up with a World Cup tour stop that will be welcoming Snowboarders for the very first time. Val Thorens, France World Cup - Medal event will be on December 13th @ 12:30pm CET / 6:30 am EST.

This event marks the start of 4 World Cup events in 10 days, in three different venues: Val Thorens, FRA; Montafon, AUT; and Cervinia, ITA. Be sure to follow me on my social media channels (Facebook, Instagram), and stay tuned on the website for news updates.

Thank you for reading the blog, and supporting me on this journey!
